The Nikkei Asian Review is tracking the spread of the new coronavirus that originated in the central Chinese city of Wuhan. 2:45 p.m. Tokyo records 67 new infections on Wednesday, hitting the highest daily total since the declaring an emergency. Gov. Yuriko Koike told reporters at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government that "Most of the patients are in their 20s and 30s." It was the sixth straight day of more than 50 new infections in the capital.
