Digital+ Partners, a German venture capital firm, was the lead investor. ChartIQ plans to double the size of its team, currently at 50, over the course of the next year. As financial firms look to visualize data in the most digestible way, companies that can facilitate that process continue to become more valuable. ChartIQ, a fintech that uses HTML5 to build real-time financial charts and analysis tools, raised $17.4 million in its Series B round, the company announced Thursday.
