Scott Crowe was named chief investment strategist at CenterSquare Investment Management, spokeswoman Marcia Glass said to Pensions & Investments. 

The position is new.

Mr. Crowe will focus on CenterSquare’s listed real estate and infrastructure businesses, and his duties will include identifying and developing new investment strategies. He will also work with CenterSquare’s research and investment processes and assist with investment risk oversight.

He will report to E. Todd Briddell, CEO and chief investment officer.

Mr. Crowe was CIO, liquid alternatives, at Resource Real Estate. His responsibilities will be assumed by John Snowden, managing director and global portfolio manager, said company spokesman Jimmy Moock.

CenterSquare, an affiliate of BNY Mellon Investment Management, managed about $7.6 billion in real estate and infrastructure assets as of March 31.
