AutoGrid, which builds software applications that utilise AI, machine learning, big data and internet of things technologies, on Wednesday announced it has raised USD 32 million in series-D funding secured from a set of energy investors. Series-D funding is a type of funding round used for venture capital financing by which start-ups get investment generally from venture capitalists and other institutional investors. The new set of investors includes CLP Holdings Group, innogy, rstead, Tenaska and others.
