Since last year's U.S. presidential campaign, investors have been hearing plenty about infrastructure investment opportunities, including the relevant exchange-traded funds (ETFs). President Donald Trump obviously emerged victorious, and his pledge to spend $1 trillion shoring up America's bridges, roads and railways has been a key catalyst in boosting interest in infrastructure ETFs. While Trump's infrastructure efforts have yet to come to fruition, developing economies, including China, remain key drivers of global infrastructure spending.
