Adams Street Partners has raised $475 million for its venture/growth equity fund programs. The firm will use this capital to back venture and growth stage companies in the tech and healthcare sectors. CHICAGO, June 20, 2017 – Adams Street Partners, one of the world’s largest and most established private markets investment firms, has raised $475 million across their venture/growth equity fund programs.
Novus Capital Group Merges With Super G Capital
Novus Capital Group announced that it has merged with Super G Capital of Newport Beach, California. John Saefke, CEO of Novus Capital, will lead the venture debt and technology lending practice as a division of Super G Capital. Founded in 2013, Novus Capital has provided customized financing solutions to 70 emerging technology companies that are sponsored by Angel or Venture Capital investors. Super G Capital, which started in 2008, has loaned approximately $200 million through its four lending divisions. Super G Capital provides a robust platform of non-dilutive, flexible funding solutions for growth stage entrepreneurial companies.
W Capital Partners, Georgian Partners Buy Out Early Shareholders To Take Stake In Vision Critical
Vision Critical, a leading customer intelligence platform provider, today announced the completion of a private resale of a significant portion of the company’s shares. W Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm specializing in shareholder liquidity solutions for growth companies, along with existing shareholder Georgian Partners, a Toronto-based firm specializing in growth stage enterprise software companies, have purchased shares from early shareholders including the remaining holdings of pollster Dr. Angus Reid, whose investment in 2002 facilitated the early expansion of the company founded by his son, Andrew Reid. Andrew Reid will remain a significant shareholder.

Venture capital firm Accel Partners has raised $450 million under a new fund to make seed and early-stage investments in Indian startups, it said. This is the fifth and the largest India fund of the Silicon Valley-headquartered VC firm which has been an early backer of leading internet companies including Flipkart, BookMyShow, Myntra, FreshDesk and BlueStone, among others.
