Description
In conjunction with the Trustee Investment Committee, the Investment Office manages various long term investment assets of the university. The Office reports to the Trustee Investment Sub-committee and is responsible for all investment and operational aspects of running these portfolios, including asset allocation, portfolio construction, investment manager due diligence, monitoring, performance measurement and reporting.
The Director Global Public Markets constructs and maintains the highest possible quality public securities portfolios in the Tufts Investment portfolio. Contributes judgment and perspective to the management of the overall portfolio.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through completion of Master’s degree.
- MBA, CFA or CPA credentials.
- Minimum 10 years of investment management related experience.
- Demonstrated skills and experience allocating assets to investment managers and managing client relationships.
- Deep network and knowledge of public markets managers across long only, long-short equity, fixed income and absolute return strategies.
- People management experience.
- Project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 -15 years of related experience.
