A family office in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a highly motivated professional to join a growing team to focus on investment reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of investment portfolio performance and generate investment reports
• Update investment data in Burgiss Private i software
• Maintain close relationships and regular communication with fund managers
• Assist with researching new fund managers and alternative investment opportunities
• Prepare long term cash flow forecasts and plans by projecting distributions and capital calls, and preparing tax estimates
• Support investment operations

Qualifications

• Analyst or associate level hire with proven record of academic achievement
• CPA preferred with minimum of 2-3 years professional experience, with some experience/understanding of private equity and hedge funds
• Strong analytical and computer skills, including Excel/financial modeling and general IT proficiency (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Adobe and other software tools)
• Maturity to represent Heritage Group well with strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
• High integrity, trustworthy, loyal – expected to stay long term, not a short-term role
• Attention to detail, organized and efficient, able to multi-task and work in a small entrepreneurial environment
• Position based in Santa Monica, CA and preference for local candidates
