Investment Analyst – Portfolio Management

RWJF is seeking an investment analyst to perform a variety of tasks to provide analytical support for asset allocation, participate in risk discussions and support systems to assess risks inherent with RWJF investments. The investment analyst program is a three-year term appointment.

Successful candidates will have up to five (5) years of demonstrated experience in an investment or analytical role with demonstrable understanding of various asset classes and associated capital markets, economics, quantitative risk management, and portfolio management theory with an appreciation for endowment and foundation investing techniques.  The candidate will also have strong quantitative skills with a firm understanding of statistical analysis. Extensive experience in gathering, cleaning, and manipulation of financial data using SQL, Matlab, and Python. Analysis and reporting with R and Microsoft Office.  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Econometrics, Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Computational Finance, Engineering, hard sciences, or related fields or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
